Breaking New Ground: Expanding the Heart of Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM) Houston

We are thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM) Houston’s new addition and renovation, designed by RDLR Architects! This transformative project includes a 41,923 SF addition and a 49,068 SF renovation to support MAM’s mission of service and community empowerment.

The design aims to elevate retail operations, improve production management, enhance the workplace environment, and enrich the volunteer experience. Guided by MAM’s legacy of faith and community, this space will foster connection, growth, and dignity for all.

Since its founding during Houston’s economic challenges in 1981 by 12 local churches and 1 synagogue, MAM has stood as a beacon of hope, fostering family stability and embracing inclusivity. The new design honors this heritage, with architectural inspiration from the Hispanic community, which makes up a large part of MAM's clientele. A vibrant, welcoming courtyard between the existing and expanded spaces introduces a “campus” feel, creating an inviting venue for community events and gatherings.

We’re excited to support MAM in this new chapter and look forward to seeing the positive impact this space will have on our community. Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this vision to life!
