New Digital Divide Centers and Faculty Studios Enhance Digital Learning Experience at HCC

COVID-19 led to unprecedented disruptions for HCCS students. Though on-line learning became the norm, many students lacked the technology and/or knowledge of digital learning.  Others benefit from in-person small group and peer-to-peer learning.  To meet the needs of these students, HCCS is investing in the design and construction of (10) new Digital Dived Centers throughout the HCCS campuses. These new resource centers will provide students with technology, staff support, tutoring and opportunities for small group learning.

RDLR is also assisting HCCS with the design and construction of (12) new Faculty Studios to enable faculty to record lessons using current recording technologies suitable for demonstrative teaching.  Faculty studios will be incorporated into existing campuses throughout the system.
