Cross Creek Plaza Expands with Completion of Phase II

RDLR Architects is excited to announce the recent completion of the second of four phases at Cross Creek Plaza in Fulshear, Texas, creating another dynamic destination for this booming suburban community.

With roots dating back to the pre-Civil War era, Fulshear has experienced exponential growth in recent years, earning recognition as the “richest small town in Texas.” In response to this rapid expansion, the 8.5-acre master-planned development along Fulshear Bend Drive was thoughtfully designed to integrate six buildings—including a daycare, retail spaces, and a medical office—within a vibrant, community-focused setting. Landscaped courtyards, generous pedestrian pathways, and a direct connection to the adjacent hike-and-bike trail reinforce the development’s commitment to accessibility and sustainability.

The overall design balanced a series of site-specific constraints, including a generous pipeline easement and strict H.O.A. architectural guidelines, in pursuit of the best and highest land use for our client and the community. The layered and stepped massing of the buildings takes inspiration from the sedimentary patterns of the neighboring Brazos River, enhancing the tranquil, garden-like atmosphere of the campus.

With the successful delivery of Phase I and Phase II, attention now shifts to Phases III and IV, scheduled for completion in Q3 2026. We look forward to seeing this vibrant development continue to grow and serve the Fulshear community.
