Congratulations to the 2020 AIA Houston Design Award winners! It was a highly competitive field this year, with 125 submissions.

The Texas Chapter of the American Public Works Association (TPWA) selected the Fort Bend County Public Transportation Facility project for its 2020 Project of the Year Award, under the $5-$25 million transportation category.

RDLR Architects provided architectural design services for the new $21-million transportation facility which will serve as a one-stop shop for Fort Bend County’s transportation department, including its administrative, operations, maintenance, fuel depot and bus washing functions.

RDLR Architects is servings as the architect and designer of record for the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work which is undergoing a $3.9 million renovation. 

The University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work is breaking ground on a $3.9 million building improvement project. The entire first floor of the four-story GCSW building will be renovated to create modern learning environments that encourage collaboration between researchers, students and community partners.

The local chapter of SER-Jobs for Progress held a ceremony Sept. 19 to announce its progress on its new Workforce Opportunity Center in Houston’s East End. RDLR Architects is providing architectural design services for the project.
